Rainy Monday!

Time for another update...where has the time gone!! I have been busy getting Heritage Makers projects completed and published, for myself and clients...it is a great time to be a Heritage Maker and help my clients create the most priceless, treasured gift of all..it is an amazing feeling!!

This past month has also been a stressful time, as we are working really hard to getting our debt paid down and eventually paid off! I am trying to faithfully follow our 90 Day Tithe at our Church...I believe God is guiding me in the right direction and to follow his plan, we will some day be able to be a little more comfortable in our finances! I am truly blessed to be able to stay home with my children and be there for them in the morning and when they come home from school. My husband has an amazing job and works very hard around the house, as well as helping others whenever he can...he is always willing to help someone out...that's just who he is!!

The kids and I visited my parents for Thanksgiving, down in Tubac. We had a relaxing time, and enjoyed some very yummy food! Mike had to work, so he was not able to come with us....however, the kids and I prepared him a "mini" Thanksgiving on the following Sunday...and he was very surprised, and loved every little bit of it!!

The house is decorated for Christmas! This year we have two trees...one in the play room, that I call the "misfit" tree...with all the ornaments that the kids made, or various others. The new one in the living room, is for all my Hallmark Ornaments...which I have over 120...it looks very lovely!!! As for outside, we have not put up too many lights....Mike wrapped 3 trees out front, as well as the Hammock...and of course we have Jimmie Johnson and his pit crew on the roof!! BTW - Congrats Jimmie on your 4th Consective Championship!!!

We are in for our first winter storm of the season! Suppose to get quite a bit of rain here in the Phoenix area, and there are Blizzard warnings up north in the Flagstaff area!!! We sure need the rain down here, and for some looks like it will be a "White Christmas"!!

Until next time...Happy Holidays to all!!

Friday The 13th, Oh My!

What a week....to say the least!! Had a great weekend in California, celebrating my Brother-n-laws 50th Birthday!! He said he was doing fine, until he came home and saw the balloon, that said Happy 50th Birthday!! LOL

As with every trip to CA, everyone wants to see us, and we try to visit everyone we can..it is usually a whirl wind trip! Sunday morning we met up with my brother and his family for a yummy Denny's breakfast!

On the way out of town we stopped by to see our friends Kevin & Christina...had a nice visit, and then headed back to AZ...after stopping in Palm Springs for dinner at In-N-Out!!

Back to school for the kids on Monday...they had a 3 day weekend, as they did not go to school on Friday, so we could head out early to CA. Then they were off on Wednesday for Veteran's Day. As for my Wednesday..it was very interesting...I will have to say a, "not going to do that again" kind of day!! I did try to stay busy, and clean up my office a bit, and counted Box Tops and Soup Labels for my son's school!!

Thursday worked on getting prepared for our school shopping night at Fresh & Easy...seemed to be a good turn out...will see how much we made next week!

Friday is here...and our weather is finally taking a turn towards FALL...going to be lots cooler as the weekend goes on!

Have a fabulous weekend...until next week! XOXO

Weekend in Cali

Happy Saturday to all! We are in CA for my brother-n-laws 50th Birthday celebration! The kids are having fun hanging with their Aunt Toni Funface (as they call her)...while the b-day boy had to work on his special day...boohoo!! However, family and friends will be over in awhile to help celebrate with the b-day boy!! Mike and Toni's doggies are too cute, Tahoe and Yukon are just great big polar bears, full of love...Ruby would have loved to come with us to hang with his brothers!

While getting ready today...I stumbled upon an episode of Little House on the Prairie, on the Hallmark channel. Yes, I used to watch that show every week...such a good family show! Makes you think about the family values from that era of time...even though it was a show..I believe that family values did exsist at one time...and I believe that we can all learn from that, to bring back those values back to our family today, and strive for a better future for all.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend...and enjoy your time with your family and friends!! xoxoxox

November is here!

Well here we are the beginning of November...the count down is on for Christmas!! Another crazy week behind me. Had a Heritage Makers workshop on Wednesday...had a couple people here..an order was placed, and had a great conversation with a possible new client, who sells Mary Kay, and was looking for some inspiration and advice on her business..I felt blessed and proud to offer my knowledge of what I have learned from being around amazing people from Heritage Makers!!

Friday went to a "reverse" suprise 50th Birthday for a good friend...just when he was walking out the door, thinking he was going to dinner...there we all were in the driveway, and boy was he suprised!!! He had no idea and was overwhelmed to see his family and friends there to greet him! The party turned out to be fabulous...another surprise awaited him, with Mariachi's walking in the door, just as we were singing Happy Birthday!! It was awesome!!! Happy 50th Birthday Albert!

Another Halloween passed us too....I made my traditional Chili...thinking we would have lots of people stopping by...but I guess there must of been lots of "adult" parties, and not alot of people showed up...not even alot of trick or treaters either! It was a strange night, that's for sure!

Our weather this past week, was different too....a couple of very chilly days (only in the 60's)...and now we are warming back up, close to 90 this week...go figure!!! That is Arizona for ya!!

I almost forgot...AJ received a Character award, for Citizinship last week...at the monthly school assembly. He was surpised...and we are so very proud of him!!

Have a great week!!

Monday Oct. 26

What a busy, busy week...seems like a blur to me...between my HM business, meetings, phone calls and emails! Last Friday was my son's school Fall Carnival...what a HUGE hit! Everyone that helped out, was simply amazing. The Thriller dance was even better than we thought..the crowd totally loved it! Shelly Smith you are amazing, and the kids danced their hearts out....great job!! Friday we spent most of the day setting up for the Carnival...and the amount of volunteers was awesome! Everyone pitched in where needed, and for the most part went smoothly! It was very exhausting day, to say the least! Saturday headed out at 7:00 with my daughter, out to Buckeye, for Heritage Days...I had a HM booth set up, with other vendors as well...there were lots of Tractors, and other Farm equipment, both current and antiques too!! It didn't seem to get too hot, so the crowd was steady all day. After that, we volunteered at our church, in the nursery...it is always a great feeling to love on all the babies in there! Needless to say, I was so exhausted by the end of that day, I felt like a Zombie from the Thriller dance!! Went to bed super early!! Sunday, Mike and I attended church, and delivered our Box and Bag of Holiday Food items...another great feeling, to help out those in need!

Now, on to my beloved ANGELS....still a fan....always will be a fan! I love you guys, and believe in you, no matter what! Not sure if I will even watch the World Series now! On to Football (Go Cowboys) and the final stretch of the Nascar season!!!

That's all for now, on this Monday afternoon....have a fabulous week!!

Tuesday in AZ

Finally a cool down! Hope it lasts...and we don't see triple digits until next year!!! The wind is blowing and there are a few clouds in site...some rain would be nice...but not expecting it!

Have been cheering on my Angels....game 4 today, we need tie up the series, before heading back to NY...come on Angels, you can do it!!! As for the Dodgers...if they lose one more game, they are out....come on Dodgers, you can do it too....let's shoot for a Freeway Series!!

Had a fabulous time in Flagstaff a couple weekends ago. My cousin Chris, got married to Amy....what a beautiful ceremony...the weather was amazing....the leaves changing colors, and the cool brisk air...love (and miss) the seasons!! We don't get that nearly enough, here in the Phoenix area!

Plugging along with my Heritage Makers business....I truly believe this is going to be a good year for me. Always looking for new people to join my team, and experience this amazing company, and the people that are involved. We are going places, and soaring to new hights..we have the best product on the market, and I want to share that with everyone....whether you join my team, or just start creating your own projects...as long as you are preserving your photos, and the stories that go with them. We need to treasure those memories, for our future generation.

I am trying to change my way of thinking, to God's way...not the World's way....Accquire, Plan, Give, Save, Spend, Enjoy! Please pray as I find this way...I think it will be a good thing for everyone as well!

Until next time...

The honey do's are starting to get checked off! Mike is almost done painting the AZ room....then we will start on the kids bathroom!!

Weekend Update

Good Monday morning!!! What an awesome weekend.....my oldest daughter went to the Homecoming Football game Friday night...and the dance Saturday night....she looked so beautiful...and she is growing up waaaaaay too fast....seems like overnight....just staring at her, think when she was just 5 yrs. old, starting Kindergarten!! Anywho....Friday night both my girls had two friends (each) spend the night....boy did they have fun....and boy did Mom get very little sleep...made me think back to when I was that age, at sleepovers, whether it was at my house or someone elses....did our parents ever get any sleep!! LOL Feeling very blessed to have my girls and their friends together...they had a blast!! However, my oldest did have a migraine, and got sick early in the AM...but was fine the next day!!

I had a fun time at our DigiCrop....chatting with our wonderful HM friends and trying to work on projects. I did manage to make and direct ship a Card!!

Saturday, started laundry and picking up around the house! In the evening went to help in our Nursery at church...and got to love on the babies!!! Siena brought two friends, and they helped in the nursery, then over to the pre-school area. My hubby and son, met up so we could attend service.....what a great service it was....Pastor Greg is amazing, and we just love to hear his word!! He wrapped up the series "Staying In Love"...with Happily Ever After! It was truly amazing! Mike and I realized how much we love each other, and appreciate each other! My hubby is simply amazing, and I love him soo much!!!

Sunday, spent the day cleaning, and finishing up laundry! Mike worked on the yards...and this week we will be trying to get stuff done around the house...since he is off all week, and the kids are on Fall Break....need to catch up on some painting, and other "honey do's". LOL

Here is something to get your week going:

"Love is Patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NIV)
